"Hi, Nathaniel's Mom!": A Collage Inspired By Motherhood
/I’m still working my way through Claudine Hellmuth’s Composition for Collage class and I wanted to share my second piece with you.
While I was making this one, I was thinking a lot about my perception of motherhood before I had my son - the times when I was certain I would never want to be a mother, the times I considered being a mother, and when I was pregnant with Nathaniel - and the dark days during the first few months of his life. I was thinking about what it was like to be pregnant at 39 and a mom at 40. I was thinking about how much that having Nathaniel has given me and how much I have changed because of him.

P.S. Nathaniel contributed the red crayon part on the top left. :)
P.S.S. Please see my footer…yeah…that one right there. We only have three days left to reach our goal. If you can help in any way that would be so awesome! xo
10 DAYS, 10 LIVES: DAY 7: I’m working with The Mission List and Water.org on a 10 day campaign to change lives. Just $25 will give one person access to safe water for life. Please help by contributing or spreading the word. Thank you so much! xo
