Art I Heart: Nathaniel Biehle

Today’s artist holds a special place in my heart. You’ve read about Nathaniel Biehle’s many artscapades in Notes from Day Care, but have only seen a smattering of his work so far. Nathaniel doesn’t have an Etsy shop, but hopefully he’ll have his first exhibit not too far in the future.

I tried interviewing Nathaniel, but this artist really likes to keep the details of his inspiration to himself. Instead of answering my questions about who and what inspires his work, he responded with cryptic quotes, dramatic hand gestures, and quirky facial expressions. From what I could decipher, he’s inspired by “Batguy,” the Fremont Summer Solstice Paradepainted bikers, and frozen yogurt.
